VOTE FOR OUR STUDENTS!!!
Vote for our students!
20th Century Fox and Glee have collaborated to give away 73 cash prizes to help benefit public school music education programs across the US. Kennedy could potentially win one of the $10,000 prizes if we get enough public votes!
Here is what we need you to do:
1) go to http://gleegiveanote.com/ (scroll down and click on "vote now")
2) find Kennedy Community School Music Program
3) vote to support us DAILY until Monday, November 7th.
It is the quantity of public votes that will help us meet our goal!
22 Kennedy 7th and 8th grade students have worked very
hard on this video project (giving up part of their lunch/recess time) to sing and dance their hearts out to their own choreography in just a one week process to
create this video. Help support them in knowing that they are ALL special just like our theme song, "Just the Way You Are!"
If Kennedy wins, the money will be used to buy sheet music for the choir, orchestra, and band programs, as the 7th and 8th grade music program is only in its fourth year.
Thank you so much for your support!

Legislative Forum
The District 742 Board of Education Legislative Committee and Community Linkages Committee want to invite you to a Legislative Forum to learn and dialogue about "Legislation in Support of our Public Schools".

Bruce Watkins will share information about the District 742 budget. Bruce Hentges will present the Board legislative agenda and Bruce Mohs will lead a table talk and questions/answers/action plan exercise. The SC Times has been invited as have our local legislators. We hope you can join us!
